April 17th, 2026 Mom's blood test result at private hospital:

Total WBC 11.5. Neutrophils 43. Monocytes 12. Eosinophils 7. Platelet Count 499.

This pattern can point to:

Ongoing inflammation or infection
Possible immune reaction
Sometimes seen during recovery or treatment response

Total Cholesterol 6.3. LDL-Cholesterol 4.4.

These are elevated and increase long-term risk of:

Heart disease
Stroke

HBsAG Qualitative Reactive. Beta-HCG 11.5 (from 7.5).

CA15.3 7.0 (previously 50.1).

CA125 12.3 (before 96.9).

CEA (Carcinoembryonic Antigen) 8.5 (from 138.4).

These are all large decreases, and now close to or within normal range. That usually suggests:

Good response to treatment
Reduced tumor activity (depending on her diagnosis)

We hope the cancer markers all continue this trend and inflammation recovers.

As of Feb 3rd, 2026, PSA result was 3.58 vs last 3.3. Continue to monitor and have scheduled MRI for May 18th, 2026.

March 24th, 2026 blood test taken at public hospital. Oncology consultation on March 27th, 2026. Doctor paused Gefitinib for 2 weeks given mom's complaint of side effects (weight loss, loss of appetite, hair loss, skin rash, greenish crust around nose, dry lip, diarrhea, etc.)

During my visit in February, 2026, mom didn't eat well. She only ate a few spoons of plain food each meal because she said stomach can't take oily foods.

On October 16th, 2025, CT scan and blood test results was not so good. It showed metastasis. Doctor prescribed Gefitinib 250mg.

The result from September 18th, 2025 showed CEA dropped from 140 to 139, but CA 125 increased from 53 to 130.

Pathology report showed doctor noted Lung Adenocarcinoma Stage 4. That's when they prescribed Gefitinib 250mg.

On May 2nd, 2025, private hospital report shows CEA and CA 125 increased to 183.5 and 84.7 respectively.

Today's appointment, CEA down from 155.8 to 140. CA125 from 72.1 to 53. Next blood tests are scheduled in 5 months and CT scan also in 5 months time.

Dad paid out of pocket for HIFU treatment. Few weeks after, he did blood test and just received result for his PSA. PSA level reduced from 7.47 to 2.93. The current level is within normal range for his age, hopefully it will stay low going forward.

He is currently in the hospital waiting to be treated either with HIFU or Nanoknife. Prior to this, He did PET scan (public hospital) and MRI (private hospital), both qualified him for HIFU.

MRI Findings:

Prostate size 2.7 x 4.7 x 2.4 cm (AP x W x CC), approximately 15.84cc.

Lesion #1:

Location: Left peripheral zone at apex level.

Category: 4

Lesion #2:

Location: Left transitional zone posterior at mid gland level.

Category: 2

Impression:

Left prostatic carcinoma.

No extracapsular extension.

No nodal or distance metastasis.

He didn't receive HIFU treatment free of charge as initially told, but now has to pay out of pocket for it.

Ultrasound Abdomen

Known case of pancreatic cyst and calcification.

1. Fatty liver infiltration and right liver cysts.

2. Two pancreatic cysts at the body and tail. Pancreatic calcification is also noted at the tail of pancreas.

3. Gallbladder polyps.

4. Left renal cyst

CA 19.9: < 2.06

CA 125: 72.1

CA 15.3: 21.5

CEA: 155.8 ng/mL (previously 133 and 101)

Elevated CA125 and CEA is concerning as of late. Dr thinks the cysts do not contribute to tumor markers rise. We do not know what is causing the rise of tumor markers.

CECT Thorax, Abdomen, Pelvis (Oct 7th, 2024):

Known case of right lung NSCLC post lobectomy, current study shows:

1. Minimal right pleural effusion with nodular thickening of right pleural fissue. In view of raised tumor markers, pleural metastases needs to be considered.

2. Complex cystic pancreatic lesion - unchanged.

Unfortunately, Sep 23rd blood test did not include tumor markers.
